Introduction To Single-phase Motors

A single-phase motor generally refers to a low-power single-phase asynchronous motor powered by a single-phase AC power source (AC220V). This type of motor usually has two-phase windings on the stator and a common squirrel cage rotor. The distribution of two-phase windings on the stator and the different power supply conditions can produce different starting and operating characteristics.

A single-phase motor refers to an asynchronous motor operated by a 220V AC single-phase power supply. Because 220V power supply is very convenient and economical, and household electricity consumption is also 220V, single-phase motors are not only widely used in production, but also closely related to people's daily lives, especially with the increasing improvement of people's living standards, the use of single-phase motors in household appliances is also increasing.

In production, micro water pumps, grinders, threshers, crushers, woodworking machinery, medical equipment, etc. are used. In daily life, there are various types of electric fans, hair dryers, exhaust fans, washing machines, refrigerators, etc., but the power is relatively small.
