The daily maintenance of a continuously operating three-phase asynchronous motor includes visual inspection, checking if the fan is working properly and if there are any abnormal vibrations, ensuring reliable coupling connections, securing the base, ensuring proper bearing operation (listening to sound), checking temperature (using an infrared thermometer), regularly inspecting wire connectors and switch contacts, and checking if the working current is normal (using a clamp type ammeter). Additionally, for wound motors, carbon brushes and slip rings must also be inspected.
